Green Mountain Fire and Hammer

These pieces have been created and hand forged by Blacksmith Mark Buik in Wells River, Vermont.

We have brushed on a boiled linseed oil base to finish which darkens the natural color, waxing the pieces individually to preserve and prevent oxidation. Ragging on paste wax (butchers wax) yearly will preserve all interior pieces. Exterior pieces should be protected with an application of tung-oil varnish mix or rust retardant satin black or clear acrylic paint. (After care product is available upon request.)

Fire Pokers

We offer a variety of fire pokers. Be sure to choose a handle when ordering! All pokers come in sizes ranging from 22 inches to 3 feet or more if you request.
